A New Roll-on to Relieve Period Pain

Marking the International Women’s Day this year, researchers from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT- Delhi) have launched a roll-on that could be used for relieving period pain. Based on essential oils including eucalyptus oil, menthol and wintergreen oil; it can also help improve the mood of users.

The product has been developed by two third year students at textile technology department, Archit Agarwal and Harry Sehrawat. It took seven months for them to come out with the formulation.

When a woman, who is having periods, suffers from pain, she just needs to apply it on the place where there is pain. She will get immediate relief. It will be effective for up to about eight hours. One 10 mL roll-on can be used for three period cycles. The rolls have an expiry date of three years from the date of manufacture.

It is different from other pain relief roll-ons and ointments as those are formulated to give heating effect first and then cooling effect. This one is formulated in a way that it gives cooling effect first and then the heating effect. “This is the best way to handle period pain”, said Archit Agarwal.

“One of my friends could not write her exam properly and was feeling terrible about it. On questioning, she confided that she could not study well because of period pains. From there we got the idea and we thought we should do something about it”, he said.

The product, he noted, is 100 per cent natural and has no side effects. Clinical trials were conducted on two age groups: 14–28 and 28–35. The trials were conducted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and the feedback was positive.

Dr. Rita Bakshi, Chairperson, International Fertility Center, Delhi, who was present at the launch programme, noted that the major main plus point of the ointment is that there is, nothing to consume and it is made of natural ingredients. “As a doctor, I recommend pain killers. But, many women don’t take them for fear of side effects. This one is a roll-on and is applied externally. I am sure women will use it happily”.

Name Sanfe, the new roll-on product for period pain is available on e-commerce sites and medical stores.

Medical IoT: Future of Connected Health

InnovatioCuris Foundation of Healthcare & Excellence (ICFHE) and IIT-Delhi jointly hosted a panel discussion on Medical IoT: Future of connected health, as an emerging development area. Below is a journalistic account of discussions and decisions made during the Innovators’ club meeting held on Saturday, 2 March 2019.

Dr. V K Singh, InnovatioCuris is working towards healthcare disruptions in India to help reduce the healthcare delivery cost. Since the medical space is growing rapidly from 20 million markets to 70 million by 2025, describing a business opportunity for the younger ones and existing players of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), insisted on mastering the technology instead of technology mastering us!

Our inaugural speaker Dr. Partha Dey of IBM emphasized the importance of rapidly growing medical space in the next 5 to 7 years (million to billion to trillion) and that the numbers are promising. The question “Is there anything we can do to get our pie of the share from that increasing number?” Connecting internally (institution/hospitals) and with the outer world, there are two aspects. He went on to highlight a concern that connected health should be targeting illness rather than wellness. Illness market would have a better opportunity and that’s a fact of life.

Integration of many devices also causes a problem in the implementation of IoT in healthcare. The reasons can be many.One of them is that the medical stakeholders do not have any consensus regarding the consent, generation, storage and transmission of data. But IoT changes the way!

The need to change the way of delivering care/service should be our priority. A paradigm shift in the way of offering services through connected health services and emphasizing that privacy and security concerns are of utmost importance when it comes to connected health. Responsibility and accountability after acquiring data are very important. The question is how to analyze the data and get actionable insight. Analytics and IoT should be considered together for actionable insight. The challenge of interoperability has turned up with an increase in the number of devices being used.

Trends and Opportunities of Medical IoT

IoT or Internet of Things is not new, but it has been gaining traction at a very high pace. Since the inception of the word IoT, there has been an ongoing conversation about how it might change healthcare, improve patient safety, affordability and accessibility for patients.

Healthcare in India has a huge potential in terms of IoMT or medical IoT solutions. There will always be challenges and opportunities in this sector. Connected health is contributing towards the growth in space of IoT, but is lagging behind many other connected sectors.

One of the key challenges in developing the algorithm for medical devices such as CT scans and X-rays. Application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in healthcare should be cautiously done because in case of a CT scan if we miss a module it has life risk and hence should be used carefully and should be a well-validated clinical algorithm.

Since the infant mortality rate in India is twice the rest of the world, and that is certainly alarming as the bottom of the pyramid is affected; there is a company which focuses on the mortality rate of low weight birth babies. They have come up with developing a bracelet which diagnoses hypothermia in low birth weight babies. This was a very simple and innovative device, but then they analyzed the intermissions they can work on and came up with baby cradle. The main challenges to develop and design such a product is to cope with the cost factor and the startups definitely need funds to develop such a technology.

The goal of connected health is not just early identification of health issues, but also effective patient care and safety. Today IoT platforms support integration of medical devices and wearables. The need for security is as important as when it comes to IoT and accessing healthcare data and strengthening advocacy for connected health.

Things change very rapidly and in very small time, and IoT is taking shape with it. But who will fund the cost of development/ Can government help the industry in making such policies?

Business Models of Successful IOMT in India and Challenges

The IoT healthcare business strategy is not yet robust because it involves a set of elements with new requirements such as new operational processes and policies, new infrastructure systems, distributed target customers and transformed organizational structures. Therefore, there is a need for a new business model. The IoT technology opens a new dimension of business opportunities for healthcare companies and the IoT platform becomes a key artifact in this transformation. Early movers who are taking a proactive approach to establishing their IoT healthcare ecosystem will tap into new business models. In this part of the business model, the panel discussed the basis of pricing and the way of charging for a product or service. Besides this, the panel also discussed the ways of revenue generation.

While there are many benefits of the Internet of things in healthcare, it isn’t without its challenges. As with any new technology in healthcare, hospital and IT executives are concerned about data security and IoT device management. What are the potential barriers to IoT adoption and how healthcare IT can overcome those obstacles?

AI and IoT change the way healthcare is delivered and we obviously are on the cusp of a revolution. This definitely poses a fair amount of concerns but also huge possibilities. The panel also discussed how Medicare is 100th the cost per person when compared to Obama care. So clearly, there must be more innovations coming from IoT and AI; they are going to help us reduce the cost.

In the past, how people tried to use the data for the benefit of both patients and providers, starting from the patient side faced huge failures, as nobody was willing to pay. And that’s where the thinking came from that; how do we really make this work? How do we really turn this data into a business model? And that’s where they pivoted the model, working with providers and using their data sets. But then the question comes up, “Why the providers would share their data?”. Thus, the first pitching that started was to use the provider’s data for their patient care. And it didn’t work well. The whole narrative was, “What’s in it for providers?”.Therefore, the business model turned out to be, as we kept on talking to people, we realized that the data is going to be useful for provider’s revenue success, and then the same datasets will help the patients. A solution that they projected is to help retain the provider with patients’ data, grow their revenues and help in patient care.

The MedTech certainly seems more complex. Where they are trying to come out with a dermatology solution and oral health solution for serious diseases where a cell phone image taken from an off the shelf mobile phone camera is sent to an AI backend and it gives a diagnosis and possible treatment options for a variety of skin diseases, particularly oral cancer. Such cases are very prevalent. What the panelist found is a landscape extremely complex in terms of the business model because when someone comes out with something like this, then figuring out who would it be paying is difficult. And suddenly the AI and IoT thing comes up and say that it can perform this diagnosis at par the level and in certain cases better than certain trained specialists. This does not support their case.

One of the panelists shared her thoughts on important factors to concentrate and realize why health care has not moved digitally as compared to other industries like banking, insurance and how a lot of digital interventions can happen in healthcare. There are a whole lot of opportunities.

The main thing to focus on is What is the problem? What is the solution? And who’s going to pay you? Because that’s where the panelists believe that lots of startups have a scope.

The customer is one, the doctor is another and hospital, the other spectrum. So how to manage this change and address the change management. If you give a thought on what to overcome, it gives you a kind of value that you try and achieve success and how do we overcome the quality assurance issues, change issues, challenges that one sees in terms of adoption. Let’s say for the doctors, it took a hundred years to the doctor to adopt stethoscope. Today, it’s widely accepted. IoMT is something that is obviously very innovative, very useful. But then not every doctor will accept it right away. How does one plan to overcome that barrier? So, they might just want one to focus on change management issues.

There are three components of the IT embedment in a hospital. One is the business side of it, which gets adopted immediately. There’s just no resistance to it. The second side is the paramedical side of it; it has pathology, radiology, and other such things. They take a little time but they come on board. The learning curve is much shorter over there. The third one is the clinical side, which is the most difficult, as in a hospital system there are doctors who are most resistant to changes and the reason being their upbringing and learning of clinical practices in a certain way.

The question arises “How does one change their practices?” Changed management is already happening at the college level. The medical students who are coming out now are more hands-on and are accepting the new technological changes. We will have to wait a little while, but they will accept it. When we talk about a change in the management, the problem that arises is not specific to India only. In the USA, George Bush had said that he wanted EMR to be adopted by everyone within the next ten years. Surprisingly, he didn’t even get 15% conversion in those ten years.

It is important to secure the data and look over the cost implications of data security issues in connected health work moving forward. There is a need for appropriate interventions at the transition level of doctors and patients, as well as the importance of advocacy and awareness‐raising at community level about connected health. There is also a need for financial support for encouraging the tech enthusiasts of the country to address health issues in India with connected health solutions. One needs to understand customer value as well. How do we speak the right language in terms of what would appeal to that particular user or customer or doctor or hospital for that matter only then we will see more IoMT adoption happening. Yes, there is a need to understand the regulatory framework. Startups needs to adopt a lean structure in collaboration with the medical partners and come up with innovative solutions. India has a fantastic opportunity, but clearly it does need elements to come together and work together.

6th Edition of India m2m + iot Forum 2019 concluded
The two-day forum witnessed industrious deliberations on smart cities & villages

New Delhi, January 17, 2019: The 6th edition of India m2m + iot Forum 2019 (www.m2m2iotforum.com), the national forum on machine-to-machine (m2m) and internet of things (iot) focused on applications of these disruptive technologies in smart cities and villages space was concluded on 15th January after 2 days of enthralling series of Panel discussions, Keynote addresses, Technology show at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The forum highlighted the need of forward-looking policies and a proactive government to play a role in the development of smart cities & villages on the bedrock of JAM Trinity which has 1bn bank accounts (Jan Dhan) + 1bn Aadhaar + 1bn mobile broadband users, already organized for the technological revolution in this space, thus, Capitalizing the connected World with the help of modern & niche technologies like 5G, GIS, IoT, m2m and others. Likewise, the governments effort to connect 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats with BharatNet project was discussed to leverage the smart villages concept in India.

5G vision for India was also one of the major highlights of the 2-day forum, as 5G technology has the potential for ushering a major societal transformation in India by enabling a rapid expansion of the role of information technology across manufacturing, education, healthcare, agriculture, finance and social sectors. The panelists voiced that India must embrace this opportunity by deploying 5G networks early, efficiently, and pervasively as well as emerge as a significant innovator and technology supplier at the global level. Emphasis should be placed on 5G touching the lives of rural and weaker economic segments so as to make it a truly inclusive technology.

Ms. Aruna Sundararajan, Honorable Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, Government of India via her message highlighted, “A city is a complex system, involving many different domains, infrastructure, organizations and activity which need to be integrated for that city to emerge as a smart city. Standardisation forms a critical part of the work that needs to be done. Being smart cities, a new holistic and cross functional standardization approach is needed, breaking the old ‘vertical silos’ approach, through better cooperation and synergies.”

“While the cities of India are fast progressing towards digitalization, it is encouraging to note that digital solutions are being readily accepted amongst the rural population of India as well. To support this technology adoption, the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has initiated projects to provide broadband connectivity for connecting various digital services and solutions across our Urban and Rural Landscapes”, added Ms. Sundarajan.

Elated about the forum Mr. Kunal Kumar, Joint Secretary (Mission Director – Smart Cities), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs stated, “The forum can make noteworthy contributions to the Smart City Program at large. By sharing and collaborating on topics such as technology, multi-country experiences and innovative approaches, I am sure that we can bring together the best minds, and the surest hands to co-create cities of the future.”

The forum also hosted a dedicated session on 'India-EU Dialogue on ICT for Smart Cities' which was organized by the prestigious project, namely, ‘India-EU ICT Collaboration Standardization’ of the Delegation of European Union to India, highlighting the absolute need for ‘Leveraging Standards for Smart Cities’, which brought together key stakeholders and smart city officials.

An AI-Based Diagnostic Tool Detects Wrist Fractures

Imagen’s product ‘OsteoDetect’, an Artificial Intelligence-based diagnostic tool that can quickly detect distal radius wrist fractures is one of the latest products to get US FDA marketing clearance. Its machine learning algorithm studies 2 dimensional x-rays or radiographs for signs of fracture by analysing the posterior-anterior and medial-lateral x-ray images of adult wrists. Studies conducted on comparing fracture detection aided by OsteoDetect and certified orthopaedic surgeons showed that the readers’ ability to detect wrist fractures was improved by using the software as evident by greater sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive values, compared with unaided standard clinical practice.

2. Alterego

A Device that Let’s Others Hear Words You Are Thinking

Arnav Kapoor, an Indian-origin researcher at MIT, has developed a device named ALTEREGO that lets others hear words you are thinking without your making a sound. The product looks like a curved bone hooked to one ear that touches the jaw on the chin and under the lower lip which works by using ‘subvocalisations’ which are the tiny, imperceptible movements in the jaw each time you say a word in your mind. There are four sensors which pick up the signals and transmit them to a computer that has been trained to recognize and convert them back to words which are conveyed to the listener’s mind through bone conduction in the listener’s jawbone, instead of words being openly spoken and conveyed. With the use of Alterego’s technology, one could ask questions soundlessly and get a voice reply only in your ears. 3. Inito

New Portable Diagnostic Device: Affordable and Accessible

A study undertaken by Dr. Satish Dubey at IIT Delhi has revealed a new portable diagnostic device which is developed by Inito, Bengaluru-based company that can do a dozen tests with the comfort of a person being at home. It has the advantage of reading dozens of diagnostic test strips with a 99.12% correlation when compared to lab grade scanners irrespective of the mobile phone used. This makes it a very reliable tool for portable diagnostics. The device uses patent-pending imaging technology called flat lens that allows a single portable device paired with a smartphone to conduct dozens of diagnostic tests with the same device. The first test that the company has launched is a fertility monitor targeted at couples trying to have a baby. Soon tests for Thyroid, Diabetes and Vitamin D will be added to the device. To add more tests to the device, you just need to update the App and order the strips for the user. Advantages of the device are that it is easy to use, portable, small size, affordable and also third-party strips can be added to the Inito platform by just an App upgrade. 4. Paper Battery

An Indian Innovation Developed using Sewage Water

An innovation by an Indian research scholar, Ramya Veerubhotla at IIT Kharagpur, is the development of a disposable and flexible battery made from paper that could generate power from the bacteria present in sewage water. The battery is made using air cathode and the anode can be made from any carbon-based material. The product is unique because it is very light in weight and the power generation starts within ten seconds, unlike other usual microbial fuel cells which take a couple of days to start power production as the bacteria need time to adjust to the environment. The capacity of power generated from one cell is in the range of a few microwatts. For more power production, one can stack and fold these cells together giving it a compact shape. This research recently received the First prize and a cash award of INR 10 lacs at KPIT Sparkle 2018. www.news18.com

5. NakedLabs

World’s First Home Body Scanner

The product Naked 3D Fitness Tracker is a health and fitness tool for people to track changes in their measurements, body fat percentage, lean mass, fat mass, circumference and overall shape. The start-up has recently raised a $14 million Series A led by Founders Fund. The device has two parts, first is a scale that has sensors and a computer and second being a weight scale that spins a person around so that the stationary mirror can grab the body scan of the user in about 15 seconds. Naked uses infrared light to capture your 3D body model which then gets visualised on the Naked App and alerts the user when there is progress being made by the user in terms of their fitness and also where there is potential for more work to be done. The device has an Intel x86 processor, RAM, 4GB DDR4 RAM and a 64GB SSD which makes it easy to beam the image directly from the device to the user’s phone. The depth data of the users’ body is not uploaded to the cloud instead is being handled on the device itself and also the resultant image is more of a TSA body scan image rather than a 3D avatar. 6. Wearable Sensor to Detect Stress Levels

A group of researchers under the mentorship of Scientist Alberto Salleo at Stanford University has created a stretchy patch which when applied directly to the skin, takes up sweat and assesses the amount of cortisol the person is producing. This stretchy, rectangular sensor around a membrane/specifically binds only to cortisol but also detects charged ions like sodium or potassium present in our sweat. This patch has a waterproof layer that protects it from contamination. So far, a wearable prototype version has been made but if this is converted into reality it would be very easy to monitor salt imbalances in our bodies and reveal the emotional state of people who are under immense stress and do not open about their situation. The present methods for measuring cortisol levels requires several days of waiting for the lab results. This device seems to solve the waiting problem for the results and is user-friendly. All the user needs to do is to sweat enough to glisten the patch and connect it to a device for analysis which gives results in seconds. The researchers are still working on its reusability though the prototype seems to work multiple times so long as it is not saturated with sweat. 7. CustomFlex

World’s First Artificial Flex

Iris is the part of the eye that is colored around the pupil and controls the amount of light entering the eye. It is found to be damaged in conditions like Aniridia in which people are born with a partial or missing iris or it could happen later in life due to traumatic injury or surgical removal due to melanoma. With patients of eye damage, the surgically implanted device known as the CustomFlex Artificial Iris is a boon. Recently this prosthetic iris has got the US FDA approval. The CustomFlex Iris is surgically inserted and held in place either by sutures or eye’s anatomical structures. This iris is made of thin, foldable medical grade silicon and is custom-fitted and colored for each patient. A study of nearly 400 adults and children with Aniridia or other iris defects found that the device was safe and effective, with 70% of participants reporting significant decreases in light sensitivity and glare, as well as improvement in health-related quality of life. The study also found low rates of adverse side effects. As per FDA, the artificial iris is contradicted in patients who have uncontrolled or severe chronic inflammation, abnormally small size of eyes, untreated chronic glaucoma, cataract caused by the rubella virus, abnormal blood vessels on the iris, inner eye infections and certain kind of damaged blood vessels in the retina. Also, pregnant women cannot be its takers.

8. Smart Bandage to Monitor Wounds and Dispense Drugs Made

Sonskusale has recently developed a first of its kind ‘sense-then-respond’ smart bandage which uses sensors to detect subtle biomarkers that signal wound healing. The device has a microprocessor to read the data captured by the sensors, communicate with the mobile and also can direct the bandage to release medication if it is needed. It takes into account things like sensing whether the wound is getting enough oxygen, right pH level is there, what is the temperature near the wound and is there any inflammation? All this information is communicated to a central processor where the doctor already has programmed drug release for antibiotic or growth factor to improve healing. Such a bandage has applications in bed sores, burns and surgical wounds with the advantage of reducing complications from infections and reducing the number of amputations. IIT Kanpur Braces Up to Prevent Cyber Attacks

Amid lurking threats of cyber attacks on all sectors including hospitals storing medical records and its long-term dangerous implications on country’s’ economy and individual’s personal data, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is all set to open a cybersecurity centre.

Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, has recently sanctioned a grant of INR 14.43 crore to IIT Kanpur in response to a proposal by the institute to set up the Interdisciplinary Center for Cyber Security and Cyber Defence of Critical Infrastructures. A period of Five years has sanctioned for the grant. It covers expenditures for the setting up of the centre such as infrastructure, equipment etc. Cyber Security has become a pressing need the world over, with major cyber‐attacks coming to light every few months.

A large number of countries is working on strengthening their cybersecurity technology. They are working to protect their national security as infrastructure disabling cyber-attacks is a threat to national security. In India though, the work in this field is still in its nascent stages.

A consolidated effort from the cybersecurity expertise present in the country is the need of the hour and the new centre coming up at IIT‐K plans to work specifically towards this. To achieve this goal, the Interdisciplinary Center for Cyber Security and Cyber Defence of Critical Infrastructures would work closely with researchers from IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, ISI Kolkata, IIT Delhi and MNIT Jaipur.

“ Working with various industry and government bodies we are convinced that cybersecurity research, training, and manpower development are national imperatives. We are very pleased that DST has decided to fund our centre and help us build the capabilities to carry out cutting-edge research and training in the field of cybersecurity, in particular with the goal to protect our critical infrastructures. We look forward to the journey in the next five years to the development of world-class capabilities here at IIT Kanpur,” said Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Principal Investigator for the upcoming centre.

The Cyber Security and Defence Center at IITK plans not only to engage faculty in cutting-edge research in the domain of cybersecurity of critical industrial systems (water treatment plants, nuclear power plants, power distribution infrastructure). But also to engage in training through courses with an emphasis on cybersecurity. They also plan to have summer courses and internships for students from other institutes. As well as custom training courses for government and industry executives.

Consulting to the government and the critical infrastructure sector by the faculty and researchers at the Center. They will also be one of the focus areas. One of the major components of the centre will be an Industrial Systems Cyber Security Test Bed – a first of its kind in India – similar to the test beds at the Idaho National Labs, Sandia National Labs, and National Institute of Standards and Technology in the U.S.

It will take about a year to build this facility where research on cyber vulnerabilities of critical industrial systems will be carried out along with the development of technology to protect them.

“We recognized the need for developing a research and education program in cybersecurity. Especially in the sector of critical infrastructures. Such as power grid, manufacturing automation, electricity generation facilities, building automation, railway signalling etc. And went to DST with a compelling proposal to establish a national testbed for experimenting with cybersecurity of such systems. And carry out research to develop defence techniques. Through many rounds of presentations, and revisions we were able to convince multiple panels of experts and external reviewers that we have the interdisciplinary expertise at IIT Kanpur. Our centre has experts in cybersecurity, cryptography, machine learning, formal methods, program analysis, electrical engineering, networking and computer systems. A convergence of which is essential to building cybersecurity of critical infrastructure. We are very confident that we can build a world-class facility and research/education/training program,” said Prof. Sandeep Shukla, Co‐Principal Investigator for the centre.

IIT Kanpur Director Dr Indranil Manna says, “Cybersecurity is a major thrust area in this institute considering contemporary national need. And an opportunity for technological innovation where IITK can make a significant impact.”

IIT Kanpur has taken a number of initiatives in the field of cybersecurity research. They recently signed a MoU with New York University Tandon School of Engineering. IIT Kanpur also hosted the Cyber Security Awareness Week in November 2016 with them. They also signed a MoU with the Interdisciplinary Center for Cyber Security at Tel Aviv University in Israel. And signed MoU with Bombay Stock Exchange to cooperate on cybersecurity.

In October 2016, from different Indian banks compromised as many as 32 lakh credit cards, according to National Payments Corporation of India. There were a number of cybersecurity attacks post demonetization, according to TAC Security, a cyber-security solutions provider. In 2016 and early 2017, cyber-attacks disabled the power delivery to a large number of customers in Ukraine. Denial of service attacked Turkey’s banking infrastructure bringing all banking activities to a halt last year. Bangladesh Central Bank lost the equivalent of 80 million dollars through cyber-attacks.

Centre for Childhood Neuro developmental Disorders at AIIMS

The genetic tests would help in antenatal counselling preventing further birth of affected children in families and unveiling of newer pathogenic and therapeutic pathways.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences will soon establish the Centre for Advanced Research and Excellence for Childhood Neuro developmental Disorders.

The Centre of Excellence will come up at the Mother and Child Block at an approved amount of Rs 14.3 crore. The broad category of Neuro developmental disorders to be covered by the CoE would be Neuromotor impairments, Motor, language and cognitive delay and epilepsy. Vision and hearing impairments will be covered as comorbidities.

According to AIIMS Deputy Director Administration V. Srinivas, the proposal for establishing the CoE was conceptualised by a team of senior faculty led by Prof V. K. Paul and Prof Sheffali Gulati.

The state-of-the-art Centre will provide high quality affordable care, perform high end diagnostic and therapeutic research and act as an education and training hub.

The five key elements of the CoEare –Creation of a National Registry, National Knowledge and Training Centre, Advanced Diagnostics, Advanced Therapeutics& Rehabilitation and a helpline for Tele-consultation.

The National Registry will be the first of its kind in the country paving the way for meaningful research, policy making and advocacy for childhood neuro development disorders.

A standardised list of investigations for diagnosis of neuro developmental disorders would be developed including advanced genetic investigations in collaboration with Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology. The genetic tests would help in antenatal counselling preventing further birth of affected children in families and unveiling of newer pathogenic and therapeutic pathways.

The Centre will focus on use of technology-aided rehabilitation strategies for children with neuro developmental disorders. This will be done in collaboration with IIT Delhi utilising textile technology and biomedical engineering. It will provide reliable and round the clock toll-free telephonic guidance.
